Brno Daily is a private, independent, English-language news portal based in the Moravian capital of Brno, run by expats, for expats. Our aim is to provide accessible and broad coverage of relevant news, trends, and events in Brno and the Czech Republic, to ensure access to reliable information even for those who do not speak Czech.
By bridging the gap between the Czech information ecosystem and the expat community, we hope to contribute to improving the lived experience of foreign residents of the Czech Republic. While our coverage includes important topics and matters of interest across the country, we are proud to be Brno-based and Brno-focused, and excited to be a part of a city that is rapidly opening to the world as a cosmopolitan hub for research, development, and the exchange of cultural ideas.
Brno Daily is non-partisan, and has no allegiance to any political party or movement. However, as a media outlet serving and representing a diverse, international readership, we oppose racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, and all other forms of prejudice and social division, and strongly advocate for the scientific community, evidence-based discourse, human rights, cosmopolitanism, and the open society.
