Brno, August 1 (BD) – “The best of opera under the heavens full of stars” concludes this month with NdB Opera events in the courtyard of Spilberk Castle, including “Tosca” on 27 August and “The Barber of Seville” (Lazebnik sevillsky) on 28 August.
In addition, the Mikulov Amphitheatre will host “La Traviata” on 30 August and “Carmen” on 31 August.
September will see the resumption of the normal program of NdB performances. Ballet shows will include the classic “Popelka” (Cinderella) on 13 and 14 September, and twice on 18 September. Then, on 23 September, “Bolero” will have its premiere, with additional performances on 24 and 25 September, and 1, 20, and 26 October.
Opera will also move indoors, including another performance of the powerful and highly-recommended “Othello” (Otelo).
