Brno, Sep. 15, (BD)- From October 11th, the residential parking system will be extended to include two more parts of Žabovřesky. 2-04 (Haasova) and 2-05 (Záhřebská) will join the scheme, under the rules applied to Zone C.
“Areas 2-04 (Haasova) and 2-05 (Záhřebská) will belong to visitor zone C, where parking is free for everyone from 6am to 5pm. Those without a residence permit or season ticket in the area must pay 20 CZK per hour when parking between 5pm and 6am on working days, though one hour a day is free,” said Petr Kratochvíl (ODS), Brno city councillor for transport. In Zone C it is not possible to pay the parking fee at a vending machine; it is necessary to use the parking application, SMS payment or use the online parking ticket vending machine.
From November 8th, the regulation system will also be extended to area 3-06 (Berkova) in Králové Pole.
