Brno, Jun 9 (BD) – Even more people will now be able to enjoy barbecues at the Brno Dam, as the city has added three more public grill sites to the existing six. The new grills cost CZK 350,000, and are due to open in early autumn.
The three new sites will be located at the Sokol swimming pool, Kozi horka and in the Pod Dymou area. The grills can be used on a first-come-first-served basis, with no reservation or advance booking available. Those wishing to use the grills will have to bring their own coal and clean the place after themselves. Thorough cleaning will, however, be carried out by the City of Brno Forests Department (Lesy města Brna).
Public grills can also be found in Luzanky Park (reservations necessary), Kravi hora and in Novy Liskovec. More information on the public grill sites, including a map, can be found here.
