Weather Report: Severe Storms Expected to Hit Western Part of The Country Tonight

Brno, Jun 4 (BD) – According to the weather forecast, severe storms are anticipated across much of the Czech Republic tonight, including Prague, the whole of the South Bohemian, Central Bohemian, Pardubice, and Hradec Králové regions, and most of Vysočina.

The storms are expected to hit these regions from Thursday afternoon until midnight. Meteorologists predict intermittent thunderstorms accompanied by heavy downpours.

During this period, drivers in Bohemia are advised to drive very carefully and at lower speeds. The development of the storms can be monitored in real time on the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute website or via mobile phone applications.

In Brno, rain is forecast for some parts of the region on Thursday afternoon and evening, with maximum temperatures of between 22 and 26° C. The storms are expected to miss the eastern part of the country, including South Moravia.

Saturday in Brno will be pleasantly sunny and warm, with possible showers on Sunday. Temperatures will range between 13 and 23° C throughout the weekend.
