Brno, Jun 4 (BD) – RegioJet has announced a direct train connection from the Czech Republic to the Adriatic coast in Croatia. The first train should run on June 30th, and the route will be in operation until mid-September.
The connection will run at least three times a week in both directions, to arrive in Rijeka on Croatia’s Adriatic coast on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Upon arrival in Croatia, passengers should then be able to use special connecting buses to travel onwards to their holiday destinations. In the Czech Republic, passengers will be able to board in Prague, Pardubice and Brno.
“This connection should offer passengers the most advantageous and convenient way to get from the Czech Republic to the Adriatic. As on other international routes, RegioJet is planning attractive ticket prices,” said the company. The trains will also include the usual services such as free internet access, and use of the entertainment portal during the journey.
Domestic ticket sales for the summer season, until September 5th, have also been launched. According to RegioJet, there is great interest in summer connections and travel this summer. They said that many customers are already booking tickets for their summer trips in anticipation of the high demand for domestic tourism this summer.
RegioJet plans to provide all details of the new connection in the upcoming days, including when ticket pre-sales will start.
