Brno, Jun 1 (BD) – On Friday afternoon, firefighters from the Židlochovice Fire Station rescued eight ducklings trapped in a sewage drain in the village of Modřice. To save them, they only needed to lift one of the sewer lids. Their mother was waiting for them nearby.

“The eight ducklings, accompanied by their mother, were then transported by firefighters away from the residential area to natural surroundings,” said Jirouš, spokesman for the South Moravian Fire Department.
