The photographer, Patrik Uhlíř, has been capturing memories and life stories with his camera. To link the present and past of the women, each of them is holding a photograph from her youth.
Visitors of the “Brno Takes Care of Its Seniors” exhibition will find information on social services and city projects for seniors, such as the Socio-Info Point Counseling Center, Residential and Field Services, Social Work, SOS Button, and Senior Bus. The presentation of the Social Endowment Fund of the City of Brno and the South Moravian Region are a part of the exhibition, too.
The exhibition will be open until May 31, 2019.
The retirement home at Mikuláškovo náměstí is an organization funded by the City of Brno. Their motto is “Home is where the story begins…”. The current exhibition follows the successful 2018 project “Memories Calendar” that was striving to capture the life stories of the retirement home’s clients.
