Brno, May 25 (BD) – The festival was dominated by its competitions, which included the main Cosplay Competition as well as the categories of Cosplay Debut, Best Cosplay Video Contest, International AMV Contest and FestDance.

All categories of the competition offered great cosplays, videos and music, but the most impressive Animefest 2018 cosplayers were:

Cosplay Contest

Groups (awarded by jury):

1st place – Ali, Germia, and Ketrin as Hades, Skadi Dragonskin and Bellona from Smite (qualified for ECG 2018 in France)

2nd place – Arisu and Toph as Jessie and Woody from Toy Story 2 (qualified for Clara Cow Cosplay Cup 2018 in the Netherlands)

3rd place – Mary Odinson and Lucy Mess as Alysum Alie and Hysteria Alice from Alice: Madness Returns

Solo (awarded by jury):

1st place – TanakhT as Sven from Dota 2 (qualified for ECG 2018 in France)

2nd place – Mischievous Jane as Loki from Thor: Ragnarok

3rd place – Rea as Sonoda Umi from Love Live!

People’s Choice Award:

Ali, Germia and Ketrin as Hades, Skadi Dragonskin and Bellona from Smite
