Brno, May 19 (BD) – This week, another stage of the development of Špilberk Park was completed.

“The new park area right in the centre of the city creates a new passage between Údolní Street and the park,” said Deputy Mayor Martin Ander, according to the official website of the City of Brno.

On the northern side of Špilberk park, a rose garden will also be created, explained architect Eva Damcová, head designer of the project, according to the city’s website.

The open space of the northern gardens required an investment of 3.5 million crowns in city funds and another million from the municipal company ‘Greenery of the City of Brno”.
