The gothic Cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul will play host to an exceptional group of young musicians on Wednesday evening when Chamber Symphony Orchestra Brno performs under the direction of conductor Jiří Najvar.

Chamber Symphony Orchestra Brno are a talented group of young musicians, aged 17 to 24, who have begun the journey to successful careers in orchestral music. (Biographical notes on the members can be found on their website.)

The programme will include music by Mozart, as well as John Rutter’s Magnificat, and La Preghiera di Capodanno (New Year’s Prayer), an original composition by conductor Jiří Najvar.

The orchestra will also showcase the skills of two gifted soloists, flutist Tim Kadlec and soprano Hana Kuželová, and be accompanied by the SPS Smetana Hulín choir under the guidance of Lenka Polášková.

The performance begins at 7:00pm on Wednesday, 3 January 2018. Tickets and further information are available on their Facebook event page.
